Blue Raiders Earn a Bid into the UTR NIT

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Middle Tennessee women's tennis team will extend the 2025 season, as the Blue Raiders were invited to compete at the UTR Sports NIT Championships from May 7-9 in Rome, Ga.
After a successful season that included six straight wins on two occasions, the Blue Raiders will make their first-ever NIT appearance in program history. Compiled of an eight-team field, the NIT championship will be hosted at the Rome Tennis Center at Berry College. The field was announced by UTR Sports on Wednesday.
The field includes the Lions along with Charlotte, Washington State, Appalachian State, Middle Tennessee, North Texas, Northern Illinois, and Saint Mary's College of California.
The first match for the Blue Raiders will be on May 7th in Rome, Ga., against North Alabama. The start of the match has yet to be announced.
