Five Blue Raiders Qualify for the NCAA East First Round in Jacksonville, FL

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Five Blue Raiders will travel to Jacksonville, Florida, for the NCAA East First Round.
The East Regional competition is being hosted by the University of North Florida, with the first day of events set for Wednesday, May 28.
John Sherman will be the first Blue Raider to compete, running in the 100-meter race on Wednesday at 6 p.m. He will also compete in the 200-meter race later that evening.
Two Blue Raiders will take the track in the 800-meter run. Mackdonald Songok will compete in the men's 800-meter race, scheduled for Wednesday at 6:50 p.m. Privillege Chikara will represent the Blue Raiders in the women's 800-meter race on Thursday, May 29, at 5:50 p.m.
In the 3,000-meter steeplechase, Conference USA champion Allan Kiplagat and runner-up Carmelo Cannizzaro will compete on Friday, May 30, at 4:40 p.m.
