International standout Luka Jovanovic signs with Blue Raiders

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Middle Tennessee men's basketball program has signed newcomer Luka Jovanovic to its 2025-26 roster, head coach Nick McDevitt announced Thursday evening. The 6-11 big man comes to Murfreesboro as a freshman center from Belgrade, Serbia.
In Serbia, he most recently played for the KK FMP SoccerBet Beograd club in the Serbian KLS league. Last season, he averaged 14.9 points, nine rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.2 blocks per game. He had a career-best 24 points against Sloboda, also bringing in 10 rebounds and four assists to lead his team in the win. Jovanovic led KK FMP to a Serbian Championship and finishes in second place in the ABA U19 league. Following the conclusion of last year's season, he was selected to the Best Five of the Serbian KLS League. With KK FMP, Jovanovic notched seven double-doubles, including a career-high 17 rebounds to accompany 17 points in a victory over Vojvodina.
