MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee head men's tennis coach Jimmy Borendame and his staff continue to draw national attention for their recruiting efforts, as the Blue Raiders were recognized with a top recruiting class among mid-major programs.
With the addition of seven new student-athletes — three incoming freshmen and four transfers — Middle Tennessee earned the No. 11 mid-major recruiting class ranking by TennisRecruiting.net. The Blue Raiders are listed among notable programs such as San Diego, Memphis, and Kennesaw State.
Among the new signees are five-star recruit Houston Jacques of Huntsville, Alabama, and Polish transfer Jonasz Dizopak, who joins the program from Tennessee State. Dizopak recently claimed a tournament title at the PPT North Macedonia on the UTR Tour.
Coach Boerndame on the Recruiting Class
"These three new guys have tons of potential. We are excited to work side by side with them in the athletic, academic, and personal development."
With a strong incoming class, the Blue Raiders look to build on their recent success heading into the 2025–26 season. Borendame's squad aims to remain a contender in Conference USA and make a deep run in the 2026 NCAA Tournament.
