Blue Raiders Earn GCAA Academic Team Honor

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee men's golf has been recognized as a recipient of the 2024-25 PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Award, the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced Tuesday.
"I'm really proud of our guys for the way they take care of business in the classroom," said Head Coach Mark McEntie. "They continue to set a high standard for what it means to be a Blue Raider, and this recognition is a direct result of the hard work they put in day in and day out."
The Blue Raiders posted a 3.527 cumulative team GPA during the academic year, earning President's Special Recognition status—reserved for programs with a team GPA of 3.5 or higher.
MTSU is one of a GCAA-record 292 programs across all divisions to earn the Platform Golf Team Academic Award, and one of 129 to receive President's Special Recognition.
The honor highlights the Blue Raiders' continued commitment to academic excellence, complementing their competitive success on the course.
