JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Middle Tennessee women's golf closed out its spring opener at the Sea Best Intercollegiate with a fifth-place finish, turning in a 909 after three rounds of competition at the San Jose Country Club.
Isabella Johnson and individual competitor Jillian Bowman led the way for the Blue Raiders, both finishing tied for 13th at 221 (+5). The finish marks Bowman's third collegiate top-15 finish after carding a 77 (+5) in the final round. Shooting her round today at par, Johnson has 10 this season, inching her up the record books for single season rounds at par or lower where she currently sits T-6.
Ella Manley shot a four-over 76 on the day to finish 21st overall, her best finish since the Town & Country in September. The junior dropped in four birdies, but was plagued with a few late big numbers.
Abbie Lee also had her second-best finish of the 2025-26 campaign at 27th after a final round at 77 (+5). Caroline Pardue moved up a place on the player leaderboard to finish at 38, turning in a 79 (+7) Tuesday afternoon. Nicole Johnson also jumped up five spots on the leaderboard after bouncing back from a difficult opening day. The junior shot a 79 (+7) in the final round to finish 60th.
Middle Tennessee is set to return to action at the Texas Golf Throwdown, hosted by Sam Houston, February 16-17 in The Woodlands, Texas.
