Middle Tennessee Opens Road Slate at Vanderbilt

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee (5-0) will begin its road slate Thursday with a match up against in-state foe Vanderbilt (4-1) at the Lummis Tennis Center in Nashville. First serve is set for Thursday afternoon at 5pm.
About Middle Tennessee
Middle Tennessee enters the match unbeaten on the season, improving to 5–0, marking the program's first 5–0 start since 2001. Last Friday, MTSU recorded back-to-back 6–1 victories over UAB and Eastern Kentucky which makes it the second doubleheader sweep of the season.
Freshman Rich LaLance made his spring debut in doubles, pairing with freshman Antoine Mayoral against Eastern Kentucky.
The Blue Raiders last defeated Vanderbilt on March 14, 2021, earning a 5–2 road victory in Nashville.
Sophomore Eric Crivei earned his first Conference USA Athlete of the Week honor.
