Blue Raiders Host Battle in the ’Boro with Three- Match Weekend Slate

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Middle Tennessee men's tennis team returns home to host three matches this weekend as part of the Battle in the 'Boro.
The Blue Raiders will face Utah Utes men's tennis on Friday at 5 p.m., Old Dominion Monarchs men's tennis on Saturday at 2 p.m., and Rice Owls men's tennis on Sunday at 2 p.m.
About Middle Tennessee
Middle Tennessee sophomore Eric Crivei and senior Jonasz Dziopak have been recognized as the Conference USA Doubles Team of the Week for the first time this season.
Seniors Ondrej Horak and Karim Al-Amin are currently ranked No. 38 in doubles, while the Middle Tennessee team holds a ranking of No. 52.
Despite winning the doubles point, Middle Tennessee lost 4-1 to Oklahoma State on Sunday. The Blue Raiders faced a 10-hour flight delay that resulted in their arrival in Stillwater early Sunday morning.
Middle Tennessee has a home record of 6-0 and remains unbeaten.
About Utah
The all-time series between Middle Tennessee and Utah is tied 1-1, with the Blue Raiders securing a 4-1 victory against No. 55 Utah last year at the Battle in the Boro.
