Blue Raiders Travel to Miami for Matches vs. FIU, Delaware

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee (5-10, 1-2 CUSA) travels to Miami for a pair of matches this weekend, opening against FIU (3-7, 0-0 CUSA) on Friday, March 20, before facing Delaware (10-2, 0-1 CUSA) on Saturday, March 21.
About Middle Tennessee
Freshman Zora Koenig delivered one of the day's key performances in the Blue Raiders' last outing, rallying on court two after dropping the opening set 0-6 to win 6-2, 6-3. The German native used a four-game run to break open the second set from a 2-2 tie, then closed the match with three consecutive games in the third to secure a 3-1 team advantage against New Mexico State.
In doubles play, new pairings helped Middle Tennessee set the tone early. On court three, senior Rutuja Chaphalkar and Koenig earned a dominant 6-0 win, while sophomore Sara Conde and senior Cara Szilasi clinched the doubles point with a 6-2 victory on court one.
