HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - Middle Tennessee baseball is set to finish out a four-game road trip with a midweek clash against the Alabama A&M Bulldogs.
The Blue Raiders are coming off the team's first Conference USA roadtrip, dropping the series against Missouri State. Alabama A&M carries in a five-game losing skid after being swept by Southwest Athletic Conference opponent Grambling State, and midweek losses to in-state foes UAB and Jacksonville State.
In the two team's first-ever game on Feb. 17, the Blue Raiders came out on top in a 19-2 victory. Dean O'Neill led the way at the plate, going 5-for-5, while Ethan Robinson picked up five strikeouts across 2.0 innings in his first collegiate start.

Last Time Out: Middle Tennessee fell in the series finale to Missouri State, 10-9. The game came down to its final out, requiring a diving catch by Mo State in left field to keep Owen Nowak from scoring the tying run from second base.
Milestone Watch: MTSU Skipper Jerry Meyers is on the verge of a career milestone, sitting on 249 wins in his career. Meyers could grab win 250 as soon as Tuesday's game against Alabama A&M. A potential win would also be his 83rd at the helm of the Middle Tennessee's club.
Leading The League From the Leadoff: Center fielder Owen Nowak now leads CUSA in both batting average (.405) and on-base percentage (.555) after another strong week at the plate. The Wisconsin native slashed .625/.684/.625 in four games while picking up 10 hits for Middle Tennessee.
Hits, Hits and More Hits: Blue Raider right fielder Brett Rogers is leading the way in overall hits for Conference USA with 35. The Chattanooga native is also chasing the league's batting title, with a .385 mark slotting him into fourth place in CUSA.
Back-to-Back Jacks: In the fifth inning of Sunday's loss to the Bears, left fielder Nathan Brewer and designated hitter Layne Akers launched back-to-back home runs to give the Blue Raiders an 8-5 lead.
This was the fifth time this season that two Blue Raider hitters have hit consecutive home runs.
Lucky No. 7: Senior right-hander David Horn Jr. picked up his second-highest strikeout total of the season in his start on Sunday, striking out seven Bear hitters. Horn's highest count came with a nine-strikeout performance against Bellarmine on Feb. 14.
Ol' Reliable: Left-hander Chandler Alderman had his second longest outing of the season on Friday night, tossing 5.0 innings of two-run ball against the Bears. The junior picked up his 140th career strikeout in the outing.
Triple Double: Blue Raiders first baseman Tyler Minnick had a historic day at the plate against EKU. The Smyrna, Georgia native tallied three doubles with four RBI in the win, becoming the first MTSU hitter to notch three doubles in a game since 2016.
Junior's Back on Track: Senior right-hander David Horn Jr. got himself back on track in his latest start in game three againt Kennesaw State. As apart of the Blue Raiders' 4-3 win, Horn Jr., tossed a season-high of 5.1 innings, with five strikeouts and only one earned run allowed.
Honk your Horn: Right-hander Drew Horn was named to the National Pitcher of the Year Watchlist. Horn has picked up 30 strikeouts through 22.2 IP so far this season. The redshirt junior was the Blue Raiders' lone selection to the All-CUSA Preseason Team.
Pop Behind the Plate: MTSU's catcher tandem of Tyler Minnick and Dean O'Neill have provided some serious pop from behind the dish. Minnick has slugged five home runs, including a solo shot against Missouri State on Friday. O'Neill leads the team with seven roundtrippers, with his most recent coming on a three-run bomb on Sunday.
Decisions, Decisions: Blue Raider right-hander Landen Burch leads the team in both wins and losses with a 4-3 record. The Corning, New York native is tied for the CUSA lead in wins with four, while being tied for third in the league with two saves.
A Grand Brewer: Left fielder Nathan Brewer broke through in the game two run-rule win against Kennesaw State, blasting a grand slam to right field. Brewer's second home run of the year was MTSU's first grandslam since March of 2025, when Brett Vondohlen walked off UT Martin with a grand slam.
Royalty in the 'Pen: In Friday's 6-1 loss to Kennesaw State, right-hander Gavin King turned in his top performance of the year in a relief role. The Nashville native tossed 5.0 innings, allowing only two hits and one run while striking out five batters.
