Women's Golf places sixth at Bell Bank Pay It Forward Collegiate

LITCHFIELD, Ariz. – The Middle Tennessee women's golf program closed out the month of March with a sixth-place finish in the Bell Bank "Pay It Forward" Collegiate. Carding a final round of 296, the program finished at 861 at the Wigwam Resort, tying the lowest 54-hole tournament total of the season.
Isabella Johnson was the low finisher for the Blue Raiders for the seventh-straight competition, finishing 15th at 212. She turned in a 75 on the final day of the tournament to clinch her eighth top-25 finish of the year.
Ella Manley and Jillian Bowman tied for 30th with a final score of 217 (+4). Bowman tallied four birdies on the day to shoot a two-over-par third round (73), while Manley dropped in her second eagle of the tournament to card a 77 (+6) in the last 18.
Caroline Pardue had the best third round performance of the Middle Tennessee lineup, bouncing back from a difficult second round to shoot a 72 (+1). The sophomore completed the tournament in 43rd on the individual scoreboard, 221.
Wrapping up the lineup, Abbie Lee shot a 77 on Tuesday to finish at 58th, shooting 226 overall. As an individual, Nicole Johnson tallied the other Blue Raider 77 in the third round, completing the tournament in 51st with a total of 224.
The Blue Raiders will complete regular season competition at the Golfweek Spring Challenge April 6-8, an event that saw Middle Tennessee place second a season ago.
