DALLAS — Middle Tennessee men's golfers Connor Henry and Carter Maneth have been named to the Conference USA Men's Golf All-Academic Team, as announced by the league office Thursday afternoon.
Henry, a redshirt sophomore from Fort Worth, Texas, and Maneth, a redshirt senior from Texarkana, Texas, are two of just five student-athletes across the league to earn the prestigious honor, which recognizes excellence in both academics and athletics.
"Connor and Carter truly embody what it means to be a student-athlete," said head coach Mark McEntire. "They've found success in the classroom and on the course, and they set the standard for what we expect from our program. I couldn't be more proud of the effort and dedication they've shown."
Henry is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Studies and holds an impressive 4.0 GPA. In his lone season with the Blue Raiders, the redshirt sophomore has competed in 10 events and leads the team with a 71.58 scoring average.
