Blue Raiders Surge Into Top Four at CUSA Championship After 36 Holes

TEXARKANA, Ark. — Middle Tennessee made a strong move up the leaderboard Tuesday at the 2026 Conference USA Men's Golf Championship, climbing into fourth place after 36 holes at Texarkana Country Club.
The Blue Raiders turned in one of the day's best rounds with a 10-under 278, improving to 7-under 569 through two rounds. UTEP leads the field at 26-under 550, followed by NM State at 20-under 556 and WKU at 9-under 567.
Carter Maneth and Connor Henry led the charge with matching 5-under 67s, while Oliver Baker and Jake Hopper each added steady even-par 70s to round out the counting scores.
Middle Tennessee will look to carry that momentum into Wednesday's final round, where the top four teams will advance to match play.
The Lineup
• Connor Henry is sixth at 4-under (71-67—138).
• Carter Maneth is tied for 10th at 1-under (74-67—141).
• Jake Hopper is tied for 14th at even par (70-72—142).
• Oliver Baker is tied for 40th at 6-over (76-72—148).
• Maddox Crowder is tied for 48th at 10-over (78-74—152).
