Blue Raiders Fall to UTEP in CUSA Championship Semifinals

TEXARKANA, Ark. — Fourth-seeded Middle Tennessee fell to top-seeded UTEP 4-1 in the semifinals of the CUSA Championship on Thursday morning at Texarkana Country Club.
The Lineup
• UTEP's Marc Keller took the opening match over Oliver Baker, one up.
• In a back-and-forth match, Jake Hopper won the final hole over UTEP's Braden Smith to finish tied.
• Connor Henery battled back from two down with five holes to play to finish tied.
• UTEP's Alexandre Godin defeated Owen Queener 4&2.
• UTEP's Dylan Teeter topped Carter Maneth 4&3.

"Not the performance we were looking for, however, I am really proud of this team," said Head Coach Mark McEntire. "I'm proud of how the guys stepped up when it mattered most and never backed down. This group has battled all year and grown a lot."
