Queener in Top Five as Blue Raiders Move to Seventh at Mason Rudolph

FRANKLIN, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee shot a second-round 286 on Saturday and moved into seventh place at the Mason Rudolph Championship at Vanderbilt Legends Club.
The Blue Raiders are at 7-over-par through 36 holes and sit in the middle of a tightly packed leaderboard heading into Sunday's final round. Auburn continues to lead the field, with Tennessee and Vanderbilt among the teams near the top.
Owen Queener paced Middle Tennessee for the second straight day and is tied for fifth individually at 3-under-par after 36 holes. He followed his opening-round 70 with another steady round of 69 to move into the top five.
Maddox Crowder is tied for 24th after two rounds, while Connor Henry and Carter Maneth are both tied for 33rd. Oliver Baker rounds out the lineup for the Blue Raiders.
The Mason Rudolph Championship concludes Sunday with the final round. The Blue Raiders will begin teeing off at 8:30 a.m. on hole No. 1 and will be paired with NC State and Vanderbilt.
The Lineup
• Owen Queener is tied for fifth at 139 (-3) after rounds of 70 and 69.
• Maddox Crowder is tied for 24th at 144 (+2) following rounds of 74 and 70.
• Connor Henry is tied for 33rd at 146 (+4) after rounds of 74 and 72.
• Carter Maneth is tied for 33rd at 146 (+4) with rounds of 71 and 75.
• Oliver Baker is tied for 70th at 154 (+12) after rounds of 75 and 79.

"Owen gave us another really good round today and put himself in a strong position individually in a really tough field," said head coach Mark McEntire. "As a team, we did a nice job improving today. We're right in the mix and need to put together one more solid round tomorrow."
