Queener Leads Blue Raiders to Seventh-Place Finish at Mason Rudolph Championship

FRANKLIN, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee closed out play at the Mason Rudolph Championship on Sunday with a seventh-place finish at Vanderbilt Legends Club, posting a three-round total of 864.
Auburn claimed the team title at 826, followed by Vanderbilt (843) and Tennessee (847), while Ole Miss (851) and Mississippi State (852) rounded out the top five.
Sophomore Owen Queener led the way for the Blue Raiders, finishing tied for 13th at 3-under-par 213 after rounds of 70-69-74. Queener's consistent play across all three rounds secured Middle Tennessee's top individual finish of the weekend.
Next up, the Blue Raiders will compete in the Mossy Oak Collegiate hosted by Mississippi State on April 12-13 (Sunday-Monday) in West Point, Mississippi.
The Lineup
• Owen Queener led the Blue Raiders with a tie for 13th at 3-under-par 213 (70-69-74).
• Carter Maneth finished tied for 32nd at 2-over-par 218 (71-75-72).
• Connor Henry placed tied for 36th at 3-over-par 219 (74-72-73).
• Maddox Crowder recorded a tie for 48th at 6-over-par 222 (74-70-78).
• Oliver Baker rounded out the lineup tied for 57th at 8-over-par 224 (75-79-70).

"Owen played great this weekend — I'm really proud of him," said head coach Mark McEntire. "This was one of the strongest fields we've faced all season, with five top-20 teams. We'll take this and build on it as we prepare for the Mossy Oak Collegiate."
