Denham signs with Blue Raider Soccer

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee women's soccer has signed Ania Denham to its 2026 roster, head coach Aston Rhoden announced Friday. A native of Wales, Denham will join the Blue Raiders following a successful stint with Sporting Khalsa and the Wales National Teams.
Denham has competed with the Wales Youth National Team on three levels, U16, 17 and 19. As a member of the U16 team, she competed in seven games, scoring two goals in the stint. Advancing to the U17 team, she had her most successful run, scoring five goals in 15 games played. With the U19 program, she saw time in 12 games, while knocking in three goals. The Welsh forward was also a training player for the Wales Senior Team in preparation for the UEFA EURO Qualifying.
In addition to the UEFA European Women's Championships, she competed in the Women's FA Cup with Sporting Khalsa, advancing to the third round proper, the U17 Euro Women Qualifications, the U16 UEFA Development Tournament and the U19 Euro Qualifiers. In Tier 3, Denham has made 30 appearances, netting 10 goals during that time.
Denham on MTSU:
"I liked the vibe I got off the coaches. They showed that they cared and supported me in the best way possible. I also spoke to other current and previous players that went there and they had nothing but good things to say about it. I am looking to develop myself as a player and person and hopefully achieve a lot of success with the team. My aim is to become the best version of myself, become a professional footballer and represent the Wales senior team."
Rhoden on Denham:
"Ania is a creative, technical and intelligent striker. She is strong in and around the box and can score goals in various ways. She's an aerial threat and with her physical attributes, work rate and finishing ability, she will create various challenges for opposing defenders. Her experience at the YNT level will be an asset to our attack."
