Middle Tennessee to host 2027 Conference USA Women's Soccer Championship

DALLAS – Middle Tennessee is set to play host to the 2027 Conference USA Women's Soccer Championship, as announced by the league office Tuesday afternoon. The Dean A. Hayes Track and Soccer Stadium will welcome in all qualifying teams for the 2027 edition of the championship, with the dates for the tournament yet to be announced.
The event marks the first time in program history that Blue Raider Soccer will host the CUSA Championship and just the second time that the program has hosted a conference tournament, previously welcoming in programs for the 2011 Sun Belt Conference Tournament.
This past season, the Blue Raiders advanced to the semifinals of the CUSA Championship after earning an 11-6-3 record, the most wins for the program since 2012. Located next to Floyd Stadium, the Track and Soccer Stadium held its inaugural game on October 14, 1998, when Middle Tennessee defeated OVC rival Tennessee Tech, 4-0. In addition to the on-field product, Dean A. Hayes Stadium boasts an elite player locker room and lounge amenities, as well as a concession stand and press box. The stadium is equipped to handle matches that are broadcast on television, showing Conference USA and Blue Raider Soccer to a wide audience.
