Women's Soccer Debuts 30-Year Logo

Middle Tennessee Women's Soccer has unveiled its 30-Year Logo to commemorate 30 years of Blue Raider Soccer, the program announced on Thursday. The emblem features the MTSU logo, the number 30 to commemorate 30 years as a program, and three stars to denote its three conference championships, all earned under head coach Aston Rhoden.
Since the Blue Raiders' first competitive match in 1996, plenty of success has followed. The Blue and White have competed in three conferences, the Ohio Valley Conference (1998-1999), the Sun Belt Conference (2000-2012), and now Conference USA (since 2013).
In that time, MTSU has taken two co-regular season Sun Belt titles (2004, 2012) as well as a 2010 Sun Belt Conference Tournament Championship, defeating No. 15 Denver, 0-0 (3-2 Penalty Kicks).
On an individual level, MTSU players have received 19 NSCAA/United Soccer Coaches All-Region Selections and 19 combined conference player of the year awards (CUSA, Sun Belt).
Rhoden has taken home three Sun Belt Coach of the Year Awards, back-to-back awards in 2003-2004, and most recently in 2012.
Academically, Middle Tennessee has maintained a gold standard among NCAA Division I programs, earning United Soccer Coaches College Team Academic Award recognition for the past 25 years, including every year under Rhoden.
MTSU will be celebrating its historical milestone all season long, with promotional events planned to celebrate its rich history. The 2026 season begins with the Blue Raiders looking to improve upon its previous season's record for the third straight year when it hosts the Troy Trojans on Thursday at 7 p.m.
