Middle Tennessee Cross Country Announces 2026 Schedule

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Middle Tennessee cross country team has announced its 2026 schedule under head coach Keith Vroman. The Blue Raiders will compete in four regular season meets before postseason competition begins at the Conference USA Championships on October 31 in Huntsville, Alabama.
Middle Tennessee will begin its season on Sept. 5th in Memphis, Tenn., at the Memphis Twilight Classic at the Mike Rose Soccer Complex.
The Blue Raiders will then travel to Knoxville, Tenn., for the Tennessee Invitational on Sept. 11 at the Cherokee Farm Cross Country Course. On Sept. 25, Middle Tennessee will head to Chicago for the Sean Earl Lakefront Invitational at the Sydney R. Marovitz Golf Course.
In October, the Blue Raiders will travel to Tuscaloosa, Ala., to compete in the Crimson Classic on the 16th at Harry Pritchett Running Park. The meet will be Middle Tennessee's final regular season race before the Conference USA Championships.
Middle Tennessee will travel to Huntsville, Alabama, on Oct. 31 for the Conference USA Championships at the John Hunt Park Cross Country Course. The Blue Raiders will look to build on last season and finish the conference season strong.
Two weeks later, MTSU will look to earn a sport at the NCAA South Region Meet in Tallahassee, Florida on Nov. 13. Eight days later, those who qualify will have the opportunity to compete at the NCAA Championships in Terre Haute, Indiana, on Nov. 21.
Last season, the men's team secured the Conference USA Championship title at John Hunt Park. All-American Allan Kiplagat led the Blue Raiders, winning his second consecutive CUSA title with a time of 23:34.82. On the women's side, Faith Nyathi finished third in the 6K with a time of 20:25.37, earning CUSA First Team honors and the Outstanding Senior Award.
