Outdoor:
• Sprinter who competed in the 100-meter dash and 200-meter dash
• Named to the C-USA All-Academic team
• A two-time individual C-USA champion in the 100-meter dash and 200-meter dash
• Took first in the 100-meter dash at the Yellow Jacket Invitational and the Joey Haines Invitational
• Grabbed a first-place win in the 200-meter dash at the Tennessee Relays
• Placed in the top 10 on 13 occasions
• Qualified for World Championships in London
• Established new school records in the 100-meter dash (11.32) and 200-meter dash (22.90), both being set at the C-USA Championships
Indoor:
• Ran in the 55-meter dash, 60-meter dash, 200-meter dash and 400-meter dash
• Medaled eight times in 12 races
• Took first in the 55-meter dash at the Ed Temple Classic
• Grabbed a pair of wins in the 200-meter dash at the KMS Invitational and the BU Last Chance meet
Olympics 2016:
• Amponsah competed in Rio for Ghana in the women's 200m and women's 4x100 relay as the anchor leg
• She finished 6th in her 200m heat at 23.67
• In the women's 4x100 relay Ghana finished 8th its heat in round one at 43.37
