2009 (Junior): Named ABCA First Team South Central Region and First Team All-Sun Belt ... Took over the closer role ... Had a 1.62 ERA with 15 saves and a 4-3 record in 32 appearances ... In 44.1 innings of work had 50 strikeouts as batters hit .213 against ... Allowed only seven extra base hits ... Broke single-season record for saves ... Ranks second in career saves and ERA ... Drafted in the 33rd round by the Colorado Rockies ... Struck out six in the Sun Belt Tournament Championship game against ULM where he picked up his 14th save after three innings of work.
