Honors: 2015 – Earned the “Grinder Award” for cornerbacks following spring drills … 2014 – Named team’s most improved cornerback for strength training following spring drills.
2015: Played in nine games and had two starts … Enters the bowl game with 14 tackles, including a TFL and a pass breakup … Played 290 total snaps … Had three tackles and a pass breakup against Jackson State … Collected six tackles, including a TFL at Alabama … Missed the FIU, LA Tech, Marshall and FAU games with an injury … Played the final snap against North Texas on Senior Day and had a stop at UTSA.
2014: Started all 12 games … Finished sixth on the team with a career-high 53 tackles, including 2.0 TFLs … Also added two interceptions, six pass breakups, two fumble recoveries, a forced fumble and a hurry … Led all corners with 957 total snaps played … Credited with a fumble recovery against Savannah State … Collected seven tackles, including a TFL at Minnesota … Added five tackles and an interception in win over WKU … Led the team with a career-high 10 tackles and a forced fumble at Memphis … Had a fumble recovery and a pass breakup at ODU … Had seven solo stops against USM … Added a pass breakup at Marshall … Registered four tackles and a pass breakup in win over UAB … Had five solo stops and two pass breakups against BYU … Collected three tackles, including a TFL against FIU … Also had three stops in win over FAU.
