Honors: 2014 – Named team’s most improved safety for strength training following spring drills.
2015: Played and started nine games … Finished year with 31 tackles and five pass breakups … Had four tackles and a pass breakup at Alabama … Added 4.5 tackles in win over Charlotte … Missed the Vanderbilt, WKU, FIU and LA Tech games with an injury … Returned against Marshall and had five tackles and two pass breakups … Added three tackles at FAU.
2014: Started all 12 games … Ranked third on the team with a career-best 67 total tackles, including a TFL … Also had an interception, a forced fumble and four pass breakups … Was second among safeties with 836 snaps played, including 80 or more in a game five times … Registered four stops at Minnesota and had three solo tackles in win over WKU … Collected nine tackles at Memphis to go with an interception, a TFL and a pass breakup … Had two stops at ODU before leaving game with an injury … Credited with nine solo stops and a forced fumble in win over USM … Shared the team lead against UAB with eight tackles … Had seven solo stops against BYU … Registered seven solo tackles and a pass breakup in win over FAU … Led the team with 11 tackles at UTEP.
2013: Played in all 13 games and had 10 starts … Ranked sixth on the team with 54 tackles to go with one interception, three pass breakups, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery … His 825 snaps ranked second among safeties … Had six stops at UNC … Made first start as a Blue Raider against Memphis and had three solo tackles … Had nine tackles at FAU … Registered four tackles and a fumble recovery at BYU … Collected seven stops, a forced fumble and a pass breakup against ECU … Had four tackles and first career interception at North Texas … Credited with four stops and a pass breakup against Marshall … Had four solo stops at UAB … Also had four tackles and a pass breakup against Southern Miss … Registered five solo stops and a forced fumble against UTEP.
