Cross Country: Ran twice in 5K competition ... Placed 96th at the Belmont Opener with a time of 18:36.0 ... Best finish of the fall was 34th at the PowerAde Invitational with a time of 18:45.57.
2014-15
Indoor: Competed on three different levels, notching two top-10 finishes ... Ran in only one 500-meter race, finishing 16th at the Blazer Invitational (1:07.21) ... Ran in the mile race at the MT Invitational, finishing 14th (4:36.43) ... Finished third in the Christmas Invitational in the 800-meter (1:59.36) ... Was ninth in the 800-meters at the Commodore Invitational (1:59.57) ... Best time in the 800-meters came in the C-USA Championships where he finished 11th (1:58.81).
Outdoor: Competed in the 800-meters seven times, including one top-10 finish ... Best time in the 800-meters came at the Alabama Relays (1:58.39) ... Finished eighth at the Boston-Moon Classic (2:04.48) ... Was part of the 4x400-meter relay team that finished second at the Bellarmine Classic (3:23.99).
Prior to MT: Four-year letterwinner in track and field and two-year letterwinner in cross country at Franklin High School … All-Region track and field back-to-back years in 2013 & 2014.
Personal: Kyle Joseph Lutz ...Son of Kevin and Kristen Lutz … Hobbies include running, playing sports, hanging out with friends and watching movies … Plans to become certified an athletic trainer and go to physical therapy school … Majoring in athletic training.
