Bio
Graduate Student (2024): In her fifth and final season in Murfreesboro, Spaanstra appeared and started in all 19 games … Finished the season with seven assists, which ranked second in Conference USA, seven points, four shots and two shots on target, career-high totals in all categories … Named to the 2024 CUSA All-Conference Third Team.
Senior (2023): Played in all 18 matches, starting in 16…team leader in assists with five, and finished tied for second in CUSA in that category…had two multi-assist games, coming in road fixtures against New Mexico State (Sept. 24) and Jacksonville State (Oct. 22)…also added an assist against Chattanooga (Sept. 7)…was named CUSA Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 24…named to CUSA All-Conference Second Team…played all 90 minutes in five matches and helped lead back line to five clean sheets.
Junior (2022): Started in all 17 games…had three assists, each in home win over Austin Peay (Sept. 4)…played all 90 minutes in seven matches, including four Conference USA tilts.
Sophomore (2021): Did not see any game action.
Freshman (2020-21): Saw action in season opener against Western Kentucky, playing 13 minutes off the bench.
High School: Played soccer at Independence HS under Head Coach David Cordero de Jesus…Ranked Top 5 in school history (4,000+)... 18 assists and six goals... Started 59 out of 60 games since freshmen year... Named Team Defensive MVP.... Named to All-District team... Named to the honor roll... Played 11 years of club soccer for Tennessee Soccer 01 Club under Head Coach Ronnie Woodard...Twotime National Qualifer... 2015 and 2016 State Champions.
