Rachel Pike joined the Blue Raider athletic department as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach in July 2024.
Pike, a certified strength and conditioning coach, comes to Murfreesboro after serving as an Assistant Sports Performance Coach at Missouri Western State University. There, she designed and implemented training programs for the women’s basketball team, which won the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletic Association championship in the 2023-24 season, as well as for the volleyball team and assisted with the football team. Pike also developed a comprehensive nutritional program, establishing a fueling station and conducting interactive workshops and individual counseling sessions.
Prior to her time in St. Josephs, Pike worked at Campbell University, where she managed strength and conditioning programs for track and field, softball, and men’s and women’s golf, while also earning a Masters in Exercise Science.
She began her career at Catawba College, where she designed specific programs for over 12 teams and took on full responsibilities following the early departure of the director of sports performance.
Pike holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Belmont Abbey College and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Nutrition with an RDN track from Northwest Missouri State University. She is CPR and AED certified and also holds the CSCCa SCCC Certification and TPI Level 1 certification.
