Alex Kline is entering his first year with the Middle Tennessee Track and Field/Cross Country programs. Kline spent the five previous years as a student manager and volunteer coach with the Florida Gators.
Before arriving in the ‘Boro, Kline spent 2021-2022 in Gainesville as a volunteer assistant coach for his alma mater. During his time with the Gators, he worked with the men’s and women’s cross-country teams and the men’s and women’s 800-meter teams. Both groups combined racked up five All-American and five All-SEC honors. The Gators took home five NCAA Championship and four SEC Championship titles when Kline was a part of the program.
In 2017, Kline competed for Team USA in the World Maccabi Games.
Kline graduated from the University of Florida in 2021 with a degree in criminology (minoring in statistics) and a certificate in sport management. A Spanish River High School alum, Kline was born and raised in Boca Raton, Fla.
