Middle Tennessee Announces 2026 Outdoor Track & Field Schedule

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee track and field has announced its 2026 outdoor schedule, featuring seven regular-season meets across the Southeast before postseason competition begins in May. The Blue Raiders will also host the Conference USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in May.
The Blue Raiders will begin their outdoor season at the Yellow Jacket Invitational, which will take place at Georgia Tech in Atlanta, Georgia, from March 20 to 21. Middle Tennessee will compete again the following weekend at the Raleigh Relays, hosted by North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina, from March 25 to 28.
In April, Middle Tennessee will travel to Florida for the Pepsi Florida Relays, hosted by the University of Florida, from April 3rd to 4th. The Blue Raiders will compete in their first in-state meet at the Tennessee Invitational in Knoxville, Tennessee, April 10 to 11. Half of the team will then travel west to the Bryan Clay Invitational, hosted by Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, California, from April 16th to 18th.
The other half of the team will compete in Atlanta at the Georgia Tech Invitational on April 17th to 18th, followed by the Penn Relays, a prominent relay meet, at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, from April 23rd to 26th.
The final regular season meet is scheduled to take place in Nashville at the Outdoor Music City Challenge, hosted by Vanderbilt University, from May 1st to 2nd.
The postseason competition will begin with the Conference USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, hosted by Middle Tennessee in Murfreesboro from May 14th to 16th.
Qualifying track and field athletes will move on to the NCAA East First Round in Lexington, Kentucky, hosted by the University of Kentucky, from May 27th to 30th. The season will conclude at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Eugene, Oregon, hosted by the University of Oregon, from June 10th to 13th.
