Braydin Sik is entering his second year as an athletic communications assistant in the Middle Tennessee athletic department. Since coming to Murfreesboro, Braydin has oversaw the communications for volleyball, cross country, track and field, and assisted with women’s basketball (secondary).
Before coming to Middle Tennessee, he completed an internship with James Madison’s communications department as the primary contact for men’s and women’s golf. He also assisted with men’s and women’s basketball, football, women’s lacrosse, women’s soccer, softball, and volleyball due to COVID-19 forcing all sports to be played at once during the Spring 2021 semester.
Sik signed to play football at Dakota Wesleyan University in 2016 and then transferred after a season to the University of South Dakota. He completed his B.S. in Kinesiology and Sport Management in May 2021. While at USD, he completed internships with USD’s fan engagement and marketing department, the Summit League Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournaments, and was an operations coordinator for the South Dakota High School Football Championships.
Sik is a native of Brookings, South Dakota, where he went to Brookings High School and played football, track and field, and wrestling. Braydin is the son of Christy Sik and has three siblings.
