Jacoby Stevens, a former NFL Draft pick and local star, begins his first season on Derek Mason’s staff as a Defensive Graduate Assistant.
Stevens returns to Murfreesboro after serving as a recruiting specialist at LSU for the previous two years.
Stevens, who was rated the nation’s top safety coming out of Oakland High School, was a four-year letterwinner and three-year starter at LSU. An all-SEC performer on LSU’s 2019 National Championship team, Stevens had 29 career starts and finished with 190 tackles, 21.5 TFLs, 9.5 sacks, four interceptions and four fumble recoveries.
Following a standout collegiate career, Stevens was a sixth round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft by the Philadelphia Eagles.
