Murfreesboro, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee (6-13, 2-5 Sun Belt) and South Alabama (4-8, 2-5 Sun Belt) enter Friday's contest at 7 p.m. in the Murphy Center with mirror conference records. Each team is looking to get a leg up on the conference race as the season draws to a close. The Lady Raiders are 2-0 against the Jaguars as the two teams met for the first time last season. MT defeated them 3-0 in the regular season and the Conference Tournament. Friday's match with South Alabama begins a three game home stand for the Lady Raiders as the team will host Sun Belt Conference foe New Orleans on Saturday at 4 p.m. and the University of Tennessee Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. Middle Tennessee is 3-3 at home and 4-8 against non-conference opponents.
