Middle Tennessee Volleyball Makes Arkansas Swing This Weekend

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee (7-15, 3-6, SBC) volleyball will begin a two day swing through Arkansas on Saturday as the Lady Raiders will play Sun Belt Conference Eastern Division foes Arkansas-Little Rock (8-8, 5-4 SBC) and Arkansas State (7-11, 3-6 SBC).
The Lady Raider's first stop on the tour is a 7 p.m. match-up with Arkansas-Little Rock. In their last meeting, the Lady Trojans took the match in five games 3-2. Lady Raider Shakeithia Deckard, who is the Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week, had 22 kills in the match.
UALR is on a roll, as the team knocked off Western Division leader New Mexico State 3-1 and followed that by defeating Denver 3-0 last week. The Lady Raiders fell to the University of Tennessee on Tuesday 1-3. Middle Tennessee will play Arkansas State at 2 p.m. on Sunday.
