Volleyball Meets Sun Belt East Leader WKU Tuesday

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee (8-16, 4-7 SBC) volleyball travels to Bowling Green, KY to take on the Sun Belt Conference's Eastern Division leader Western Kentucky (18-5, 10-1 SBC) at 7 p.m. on Tuesday in E.A. Diddle Arena.
The Lady Raiders are coming off a dramatic victory over Arkansas State on Sunday when the team battled back from a 4-11 deficit in game five to win the game and the match. Freshman Shakeithia Deckard broke the school record for kills in a match with 35 against the Lady Indians.
Western Kentucky played Arkansas State on Saturday and was also taken to five games by the Lady Indians as well. The Hilltoppers prevailed with a 3-2 victory.
In the Lady Raiders last match with Western Kentucky on September 29, in Murfreesboro, the Hilltoppers defeated MT 3-0. Junior Katie Thiesen, from Rockford, IL, led the Lady Raiders in the match with 10 kills.
