Talk about this year's senior class and your expectations from them as far as leadership:
With seven seniors there are a lot of expectations for great leadership. I feel that the seniors are respected and listened to and I believe that they will step up and do a great job this year.
Talk about your productivity with a bat last season and how you hope to improve in that area:
I'm not quite sure how I did last year, but as far as this year I would like to improve on consistency and power.
What is the one aspect of your game you are trying to improve on for the 2002 season?:
Well there are a lot, but the main one is consistency at bat.
You were a freshman when the team won the OVC and went to the NCAA Regional in 2000. Does that make you hungry to accomplish goals like that again as your career at Middle Tennessee comes closer to an end?:
Sure everyone wants a ring and to know that we have already accomplished
it before makes you want another one that much more.
How do you feel the chemistry is on the team this year?:
We had great chemistry last year and since it is basically the same team as before our chemistry is only going to get stronger.
What are your expectations for the 2002 season personally and for the team?:
Personally to do the best that I can and be able to contribute, as for
the team that is easy. Go all the way and allow for our seniors to leave with
a ring.
