Murfreesboro, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee Lady Raider Volleyball hosts their first Sun Belt Conference game when the University of Louisiana-Lafayette comes to the Murphy Center Friday at 7 p.m. The last time MT and ULL met was Sept. 29, 2000 with the Lady Raiders losing 15-7,9-15,4-15,15-13,11-15. Katie Thiesen scored a double-double in the match with 14 kills and 11 digs and also had four block assists. Erin Hillstorm also had double figure kills with 11 and Kelly Quinn had four service aces. ULL's Clarice Laires was named SBC Defensive Player of the Week on Monday. She had a total of 25 digs and 19 blocks in the Ragin Cajuns weekend wins over New Mexico State and Denver. Middle Tennessee brings a record of 4-8 and 0-1 in Sun Belt play while ULL is 7-3 and 2-0 in the Sun Belt. The Lady Raiders are 0-1 against the Ragin Cajuns.
