Murfreesboro, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee Lady Raider volleyball travels to Birmingham, Alabama today to take on the UAB Blazers at 7 p.m.
At the Charlotte Invitational last weekend, MT left the tournament with a 2-2 record and still had some questions to answer. Head Coach Lisa Kissee experimented with numerous line-ups in the four games played, and is expected to continue the line-up shifts today and this weekend at the Bradley Tournament.
Freshman Shakeithia Deckard was named to the Charlotte Invitational All-Tournament team, as she averaged 3.46 kills per game and an attack percentage of .205. Currently she is on a three game streak of recording double figure kills in a match.
This in the ninth meeting between Middle Tennessee and UAB, with the Blazers holding a 7-1 record over the Lady Raiders. UAB comes into tonight's contest with a record of 2-1 record, as the team defeated Jacksonville 3-1, lost to Georgia 1-3 and defeated Eastern Kentucky 3-1.
