20'S ARE WILD: Three Blue Raiders scored 20 or more points against IP-Ft. Wayne on Thursday. Lee Nosse led the way with 22 while Tommy Gunn and Eric Parham netted 20 each. The game marks the first time this season that two or more Blue Raiders scored 20 or more.
DOUBLE-DOUBLE: Lee Nosse posted his fourth double-double of the season against the Mastodons. Nosse posted 22 points and 11 rebounds in the contest. Nosse has now tallied six career double-doubles and has scored double figures in 41 career games.
SHARPSHOOTING: The Blue Raiders shot 58.2 percent from the field against IPFW, including a smoldering 62.5 percent in the second half. However, the percentage was not the best of the year for the team. MT shot 58.7 percent against Bryan College.
BACK TO THE BELT: Tonight's game marks the final non-conference game of the year for Middle Tennessee. All six remaining games are against Sun Belt opponents.
THIS AND THAT: The Blue Raiders outrebounded the Mastodons 39-23 in the contest - Lee Nosse is now 30 points shy of 1,000 - tonight's victory was number 896 for the Blue Raider program - MT's road record for the season improves to 2-8 - Randy Wiel is 36-3 when his MT teams score more than 80 points.
