MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee volleyball (13-10) evened it's Sun Belt Conference win total to 4-4 with a 3-0 (30-24, 30-26, 30-21) win over visiting New Orleans (10-14, 3-6) Saturday in Alumni Memorial Gym.
It was the first time the Lady Raiders swept a match, 3-0, since September 15 when Middle Tennessee defeat UNC-Greensboro. It is also the second win in school history over the Lady Privateers, as MT improves to 2-5 over UNO.
Sophomore KeKe Deckard led all players with 15 kills and also registered 12 digs. It was the 15th time this season she had a double-double in the match.
Sophomore Dara McLean also registered double figure kills with 10, and sophomore Kelly Cannon dished out 40 assists. Senior Katie Thiesen had three aces.
Middle Tennessee hosts South Alabama on Sunday. The match is scheduled for 1 p.m. in Alumni Gym.
