Volleyball Falls to Trojans 3-1

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Dara McLean, a sophomore outside hitter had a career-high 11 kills in Middle Tennessee's (9-7, 0-3 SBC) 3-1 (25-30, 31-29, 29-31, 20-30) loss to Arkansas-Little Rock (6-6, 2-0 SBC) Friday in Alumni Gym.
After dropping the first game 30-25, Middle Tennessee roared back to tie the games 1-1 with a 31-29 win in game two. The Lady Raiders kept it close in game three falling 29-31 and couldn't hold in game four, falling 30-20.
Sophomore KeKe Deckard registered her ninth double-double of the season with 19 kills and 10 digs. Kelly Quinn took on all of the setting duties for the night and dished out 37 assists for the Lady Raiders.
Middle Tennessee will continue its home stand when the team hosts Sun Belt foe Arkansas State on Sunday. Match time is set for 1 p.m. in Alumni Gym.
