MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee women's golf coach Rachael Moore announced the signing of Jenny Kim to a National Letter of Intent on Thursday. Kim, a boarding student from Korea, resides in Seymour, TN where she attends The King's Academy.
"I am very excited Jenny has made the selection to come to Middle Tennessee," said Moore. " I feel like she will be a great asset to our program and will play a key role in helping us achieve our future goals. Kim is a very hard worker and her best golf is ahead."
Kim was the 2002 Division II Girls State Golf Champion, while also winning the Sevier County Golf Championship earlier this year. A serious golfer for only the past two years, Kim played on the boy's team at The King's Academy because the school does not field a women's program. She played the No. 2 position on the boy's team this year where she had a nine-hole average of 40 playing from the men's tees.
