Blue Raiders Win All Nine Matches

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee won all three doubles and all six singles matches against Florida A&M Saturday morning at the Seminole Fall Classic in Tallahassee, Fla.
In doubles action, Brandon Allan and Kai Schledorn won for the second straight day, defeating Pfungwa Mahefu and Frank Green, 8-3. Trevor Short and Kirk Jackson also won their second consecutive doubles match, winning by the same score over Yues Sinson and Zurah Zhvania, while Andreas Siljestrom and Rishan Kuruppu also won 8-3 against Errol Tshabe and Jarrell Williams.
The Blue Raiders won all six singles matches in straight sets, starting with Allan defeating Mahefu, 6-1, 6-2. Short took care of Sinson, 6-3, 6-4, while Anant Sitaram defeated Zhvania, 6-2, 6-1. Siljestrom won 6-0, 6-0 over Tshabe, and Schledorn defeated Green, 6-3, 6-3. Kuruppu rounded out the victories with a 6-0, 6-4 decision over Williams.
Middle Tennessee concludes action in the Seminole Fall Classic Sunday morning with matches against Nebraska.
