MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — No. 43 Middle Tennessee (17-7) returns home to host Tulane (6-8) and Tennessee State (2-11).
Middle Tennessee leads the all-time series 7-4 against Tulane and holds a 12-0 advantage over Tennessee State.
About Middle Tennessee
In singles play, Karim Al-Amin leads the Blue Raiders with a 14-3 record. Junior Birtan Duran is 10-5, Ondrej Horak holds a 13-6 mark, and senior Freddy Murray is 15-4.
In doubles, the pairing of Horak and Al-Amin is ranked No. 83 nationally by the ITA and owns a 13-4 record at court one.
In their last match against William & Mary, the Blue Raiders secured the doubles point. On court two, Horak and Antoine Mayoral posted a 6-2 win over Albert Hansen and Theo Nilsson. On court one, Al-Amin and Houston Jacques clinched the point with a 6-4 victory against Oliver Hague and Gur Trakhtenberg, giving Middle Tennessee a 1-0 advantage. The match also marked the first time this season that two new doubles pairings earned wins.
