The Blue Raiders are riding a five-match winning streak and are 3-1 in the Sun Belt Conference. With a 8-8 record, Middle Tennessee is .500 for the first time this season.
"I am really excited about the way the team is playing right now," said head coach Matt Peck. "We are learning to close out a match and go after the win."
Middle Tennessee is facing a Florida International team that is 1-13 and 0-4 in the Sun Belt. It is a team that is looking for a win after eight consecutive losses.
"This will be a real test for our team," Peck said. "Florida International is looking for their first Sun Belt win and we are playing our first Sun Belt road game."
Middle Tennessee plays Florida International on Sunday at 12 p.m. The Blue Raiders will go up against future Sun Belt Conference member Florida Atlantic on Monday.
