Scales, Martin, Okafor Set for NCAA Championships

Senior Mardy Scales will look to earn his third straight All-America honor in the 60-meters. The Franklin, Tenn, native will run in the 60 and 200-meters after setting a school and Sun Belt Conference record in the 200 at the conference championships two weeks ago.
Senior Garland Martin will make his first appearance at the national championships, participating in the 60-meter hurdles. Martin ran 7.26 in the 55-meter preliminaries at the Sun Belt Championships two weeks ago.
Junior Rosemary Okafor will make her first appearance at the indoor national championships after setting the school record in the 400-meters last Saturday at the NCAA Last Chance Meet. Okafor posted a time of 52.94 to break the record set the week earlier by Kishara George at the SBC Championships.
