MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee soccer returns for action for the final match of it's regular season non-conference schedule when the Blue Raiders welcome the Ole Miss Rebels to Blue Raider Field at 6:30 PM on Friday. Middle Tennessee is coming off a 3-0 loss to Oral Roberts at the Tulsa Soccer Invitational last Sunday after conceding two goals before the half. The Blue Raiders also picked up their first win of the season with a 1-0 shutout of the host Tulsa Golden Hurricane two days previous. Despite the disappointing finish to the weekend, sophomore defender Fran Howells, sophomore midfielder Vanessa Mueggler and freshman midfielder Hope Suominen were named to the All-Tournament team at the conclusion of the tournament. The Blue Raiders and Ole Miss are facing off for the fourth with the MT falling in all three of the previous meetings, including a 4-1 setback in 2004. The Rebels come into Murfreesboro with a 2-3-2 record after a comeback 2-1 overtime victory against the Oklahoma Sooners last Sunday.
