Tennis programs announce camp dates

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The Middle Tennessee tennis program will be offering a number of camp options this summer for ages six to 18 as announced by men's head coach Jimmy Borendame and women's head coach Melissa Schaub.

Three four-day day camps will be offered beginning on June 13 and running through June 30. The camps, beginning at 9 a.m. and ending at 4 p.m., will include a variety of skill drills, games and group activities. The camps also include a half day option in which camp would begin at 9 a.m. and end at noon.
The men's tennis team opened up action 2-0 over the weekend and will play host to Morehead State Saturday, Jan. 29 at Nashboro Village in Nashville, Tenn., at noon. The women's team will open the 2011 spring season on Friday, Jan. 28 at 5 p.m. when it travels to Nashville, Tenn., to play Belmont.
