MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee faces its first road challenge in Conference USA this weekend with a game at LA Tech on Friday, October 3 at 7 p.m. followed with a game at Southern Miss Sunday, October 5 at 1 p.m.
The Blue Raiders, the Lady Techsters and the Golden Eagles are all searching for their first C-USA victory of the season as the three teams opened up conference play at 0-2.
Blue Raider Bullet Points
• The Blue Raiders are fourth in C-USA in saves this season with 50 total. MT averages 5.00 saves per game to Southern Miss' 4.45 and LA Tech's 2.17.
• Kelsey Bouwer is third in C-USA with 48 of those saves this season. She is only behind FAU's Sydney Drinkwater with 48 saves and UAB's Angelica Jimenez with 62 saves.
• The Lady Techsters and the Golden Eagles lead the league in goals scored as LA Tech has 44 goals this season (3.67 goals/game) and Southern Miss has recorded 24 goals (2.18/game).
