Raiders host Middle Tennessee Invitational

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Saturday marks the final home track meet for the Middle Tennessee track & field programs, who host the Middle Tennessee Invitational in the Murphy Center with events starting at 10 a.m.
In addition to the Blue Raiders, Belmont, Chattanooga, Eastern Kentucky, Southern Miss, Troy and UAB (women only) will be in attendance.
Middle Tennessee opened the 2014-15 indoor schedule with the Christmas Invitational and recently finished three consecutive weeks of competitions in Nashville between Vanderbilt and TSU. The Blue Raiders last competed in the Ed Temple Classic and placed 20 in the top five.
The shot put, long jump, pole vault and high jump all start competition at 10 a.m. with the weight throw and triple jump to follow. The mile is slated to start the running events at 1 p.m.
