Season Tickets on sale for Men's and Women's Hoops

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee men's and women's basketball seasons tickets are on sale at the Blue Raider Ticket Office with plenty of action for fans to catch in the 2018-19 season.
The teams will play a combined 28 regular-season home games, in addition to two exhibition dates for the women that are included in the cost of the season tickets.
Men's season tickets are $170, and the women's season tickets are $120, or fans may purchase a combination of both men's and women's season tickets at a discounted rate of $220.
The women's season ticket package includes 15 total home dates with the inclusion of two exhibition games in October. The Lady Raiders will face Lindsey Wilson, Oct. 28, before the final dress rehearsal against Trevecca on Halloween.
The women's season ticket package also includes 13 regular season home games, featuring a visit from SEC foe Vanderbilt in the season opener, Nov. 9. It marks the first visit for Vanderbilt to Murphy Center since February 1991. Two of the state's top women's basketball programs will be showcased when the Lady Raiders play host to Belmont, Nov. 19. Additional non-conference home dates include Mississippi Valley State (Nov. 21), Georgia State (Nov. 29) and UNC Asheville (Dec. 20). The Georgia State game has been designated as the annual Murfreesboro City Schools Education Day game.
The Lady Raiders will play host to Southern Miss (Jan. 10), Louisiana Tech (Jan. 12), Rice (Jan. 24), North Texas (Jan. 26), UAB (Feb. 2), WKU (Feb. 14), Marshall (Feb. 16) and Florida Atlantic (March 2) in the Conference USA portion of the schedule.
The men's season ticket package includes 15 home contests in the regular season, featuring a Dec. 21 showdown against Ole Miss at Bridgestone Arena that is included in the season ticket package. Middle Tennessee will open the season at home against Lees-McRae on Nov. 6 and host the annual Rutherford County Schools Day game against Milligan on Nov. 9.
Men's hoops also hosts 2018 NCAA Tournament participants Lipscomb (Dec. 1) and Murray State (Dec. 8) – the reigning champions of the Atlantic Sun and Ohio Valley, respectively – on back-to-back Saturdays at the beginning of December.
The Conference USA home slate includes FIU (Jan. 3), Florida Atlantic (Jan. 5), UTSA (Jan. 17), UTEP (Jan. 19), UAB (Jan. 30), Charlotte (Feb. 7) and Old Dominion (Feb. 9), as well as two additional home games during the "bonus play" portion of the new Conference USA men's basketball schedule format.
The Lady Raiders return three starters and eight letter winners in 2018-19, including two-time All-Conference USA selection Alex Johnson. Fellow seniors Katie Collier, LaSonja Edwards, Jess Louro and Jordan Majors will be counted on for leadership, as well as juniors Kyla Allison and Charity Savage.
Middle Tennessee also welcomes six newcomers who are expected to make an immediate impact this season, including senior transfer A'Queen Hayes and highly-regarded freshmen Mykia Dowdell, Taylor Sutton, Alexis Whittington and Amanda Whittington.
Middle Tennessee's men feature a new look in 2018-19 as Head Men's Basketball Coach Nick McDevitt enters the program with a re-tooled roster that includes returners Karl Gamble, James Hawthorne and Murfreesboro product Donovan Sims.
In addition to Antonio Green and TJ Massenburg, both of which redshirted last season at MT, multiple other newcomers will play their first minutes in Blue and White this season when the Blue Raiders suit up on Nov. 6 inside Murphy Center.
